Chopra Public School started on Ist April, 1985 under Shri Gian Gaurav Chopra Public High School Educational and Welfare Society, Machhiwara which is non – proprietary in nature. The members of society consists of public men of this repute from different prominent fields such as education and businessmen having clean images respectable citizens of character. The school got affiliation from PSEB in 1994 upto Secondary classes and upgraded to Senior Secondary (Humanities) in 2002 and for Senior Secondary(Commerce) in 2006.
At present, the school is spread over 2 acres of land having very impressive campus with double storey building and well equipped labs. In 2015, school got affiliation for Secondary classes with CBSE, New Delhi and upgraded to Senior Secondary classes(Medical, Non-Medical and Arts) in 2019 and Senior Secondary(Commerce) in 2020 from CBSE,New Delhi. Smart classrooms were introduced in the school with motive of all around development of child.
The school recognizes that each child is an individual that all children are creative, that all children need to succeed. Therefore, the school respects the individual needs of children, fosters a caring and creative environment and emphasizes the holistic development of each child without any financial burden on parents.
